I wish I could rate zero stars. Healthcare, especially mental healthcare should be patient-centered. It's a shame that the almighty dollar is more important than a person's wellbeing.
Receptionist and billing department are horrible. There’s an older lady with short black hair working as the receptionist at the Mansfield office who is awful. Inconsiderate, rude, loud, and treats you like an idiot when you ask the simpliest questions. She makes you feel like you’re a total waste of her time and any amount you may owe (even when it’s part of the bill that your insurance will pay) she announces the amount loudly for the entire waiting room to hear and then dismisses you stating she will NOT schedule you a follow appointment until the amount is paid in full. When I explained SEVERAL times I have a credit on my account and had proof of this with an email from billing department she wouldn’t even look at it. Sighed her heavy sigh and told me she wouldn’t schedule my next appointment until I paid 170.00 even though my email stated I have credit of 210.00 for overpayments. She wouldn’t even look at my account on line for notes indicating this?!? If it wasn’t for Johanna Wilson I would leave the practice. Dr Wilson is phenomenal and has helped me a lot, unfortunately her staff is awful!
