Sucked had my guys take stuff back this morning. They get there can't find right receipt so get the give store credit. No problem i buy alot there for my jobs. But i go tonight in this snow storm to get stuff for tomorrow and my driver license doesn't match so i can't use my own card. Went to Lowe's to buy some wood laminate flooring, found exactly what we wanted. They had everything we needed in stock. All employees we worked with were knowledgeable and friendly. Great experience!0
I went to Mansfield Lowe’s and purchased an item. I am from a small town so drove 30 miles one way. When I got home found blister packaging had been opened and battery backplate was missing. Called store and told them. Drove the 30 miles one way to return item. I know I didn’t have to go the next day to return but had a busy week. Anyway......they wouldn’t give me the Veterans discount since I didn’t have his card (It was on the receipt that I had gotten the discount on the original receipt ) only wanted to give me 10% off the item after making the trip twice. And when I also rang it out, guy didn’t believe me that she said I could have 10% off when I returned the original item to purchase a replacement. Told them to forget it! I know I came home with nothing, but have never been treated so rude. I will never go to the Mansfield Lowes again.....ever!
Around here, you have two choices when shopping for home improvement supplies, Lowe's and Home Depot. (Maybe three choices, if you include Menards.) And these two stores are very similar in nearly every way, to the point where your preference of which one to shop at is based on little details. For me, I shop at Lowe's. Because I like the location better, I prefer the color blue over orange, and the registers/exit are not on the complete opposite side of the building of the entrance. I'm looking at you Home Depot.
Nice store with a good selection of items. Employees usually leave you alone for the most part but they do acknowledge your existence and generally ask if you want help. I have found them to be very helpful when I have wanted assistance finding something. Also offer 10% off to military and veterans which is nice.
